House Lights Terms of Use
Effective date: October 26, 2026
These terms cover the House Lights app made by TechSystems23 LLC (“we”, “us”). By using House Lights you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
- What the app does. House Lights sends commands to a lighting controller you own or are allowed to control. It does not install, power, or repair lights or controllers.
- Your equipment. You are responsible for your lights, controller, wiring, power supplies, and their safe installation, preferably by a qualified installer. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and local electrical codes.
- Use it responsibly. Only control lights you have permission to control. Don’t use the app in a way that is unsafe, unlawful, or a nuisance to others.
- Provided “as is”. The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t promise it will work with every controller, firmware version, or network, or that it will be free of errors.
- Limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, TechSystems23 LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for damage to equipment, property, or data, arising from use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
- Purchases and refunds. Purchases are made through Google Play (or the Apple App Store) and follow that store’s payment and refund policies.
- Installers. Installer details come from TechSystems23’s list of companies in its installer program, which your installer’s code points to. An installer shows in the app only while it is part of the program. Installers are independent businesses, not TechSystems23 LLC, and are responsible for their own work and warranties.
- Your data. See our privacy policy. We don’t collect your photos, layouts, or settings.
- Changes. We may update the app and these terms. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
Flashing lights warning
Some looks and music styles flash, strobe or change color quickly. A small number of people may have seizures when they see flashing lights or patterns, even with no history of epilepsy. If you or anyone nearby has had seizures, check with a doctor before using flashing effects. Stop right away if anyone feels dizzy, has blurred vision, twitching, or loses awareness.
Not affiliated with WLED
House Lights works with WLED controllers but is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the WLED project or its contributors.
